It's a VW double victory as Latvala wins ahead of Mikkelsen. Østberg completes the podium on third.

What an event. Love the fact that Latvala is now first in the championship. Maybe Ogier will get a proper internal rival?

Sweden was thrilling this time around, very close all the way. Latvala as World Champion? He's been my favourite not-Norwegian driver since he joined the WRC, so I'll be very happy with that! He's already rivaling Ogier, it will be interesting to see how the team sorts things out.

Probably not, unless Ogier makes a habit of not paying attention and adventuring off the road. What I want to know is will any non-VW drivers win a rally this year

To be fair, Ogier was never under big pressure with Volkswagen. Who know how it will affect him mentally if suddenly a second fast driver with a capable car sits right besides him?
Although I am not sure if Jari Matti is able to keep his act together on gravel and tarmac events.

Ogier's still not under pressure. As much as I'd love to see Latvala spank Ogier he still isn't nearly as fast as Seb, even in Sweden. Seb outran Jari on 15 of the 23 stages, and of the 8 that JML was faster one was the stage Seb went off and six were on the last day when Seb was road sweeping.
